Satsang Diksha VisharadParental Guidelines

Guidelines for Parents

Mahant Swami Maharaj In a letter to Satsangi parents, Mahant Swami Maharaj stated: “Just as Dharmadev and Bhaktimata taught Ghanshyam Maharaj with love and devotion, parents should teach Satsang-Diksha to their children with love. By doing this, an atmosphere of Akshardham will be established in the home.” With these words it is clear that a child’s consistent and meaningful engagement ultimately depends on parental support. While we provide structured content and learning resources, a child’s success is shaped by regular participation, discipline, and guidance at home. Parents play a crucial role in encouraging their child to stay on track, complete lessons, practice regularly, and prepare for assessments. Active supervision and involvement help reinforce learning and ensure that children gain the maximum benefit from the course. Thus, parents are encouraged to:

Sit with your children and watch the online classes with them, ensuring that they study regularly.

After watching the recorded class, encourage your child to solve the quizzes independently—offer subtle hints and show them where to find the answer (in the lesson, notes, or references) rather than giving it directly.

Have your child complete the daily recitation (mukhpath) of references as per the Mukhpath Sahayika (Recitation Guide) booklet.

Help your child revise regularly using the lesson videos, class notes, and reference materials provided.

Help your child prepare for unit tests and final exams.

Regularly check the course Telegram / WhatsApp channel, as well as emails, for course updates.
